Elk Lake

Elk Lake is a favorite dog friendly lake near Bend for a reason. Located along the Cascade Lakes Highway, it offers clear water, forested shoreline, and plenty of space to spread out.

Dogs are allowed around the lake and on the shoreline, and many visitors bring their pups along for paddleboarding or shoreline exploring. Early mornings and weekdays tend to be quieter, making it easier to find space for your dog to relax.
