Sunriver Observatory
Experience the wonders of the night sky at the Sunriver Observatory, one of Central Oregon’s premier astronomy destinations. Sunriver Fun
Enjoy a scenic six-mile float on the Deschutes River from the Sunriver Resort Marina to Benham View. Canoes, single or double kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, rafts, and single tubes are available for rent, and all include lifejackets, paddles, and a shuttle ride back to the marina. Canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards take about two hours, while rafts take around three. Dogs are welcome, making it a great activity for the whole family.

If you want to make it an all-day experience, start at the Big River launch and continue all the way to the Besson Day Use Area.
