Sunriver Fun

Enjoy a scenic six-mile float on the Deschutes River from the Sunriver Resort Marina to Benham View. Canoes, single or double kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, rafts, and single tubes are available for rent, and all include lifejackets, paddles, and a shuttle ride back to the marina. Canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards take about two hours, while rafts take around three. Dogs are welcome, making it a great activity for the whole family.

For land-based fun, visit the Sunriver Horse Stable for guided trail rides through the scenic Central Oregon landscape. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced rider, the stable offers memorable experiences for all ages.

You can start at Harper Bridge and float downstream to the Besson Day Use Area for a shorter, scenic trip, or for a longer adventure, begin at the Big River launch and float downstream to Harper Bridge. If you want to make it an all-day experience, start at the Big River launch and continue all the way to the Besson Day Use Area.
