  • Are all Central Oregon Vacation Homes privately owned?

    Our homes are privately owned by individual homeowners, and COVH manages the homes on their behalf. Visit our Property Management page or contact our team if you’d like to explore investing in Central Oregon. 

  • Is there an age requirement to make a reservation in one of the vacation rental homes?

    Yes. You must be at least 23 years of age to reserve one of our vacation rental homes.

  • Are the homes cleaned?

    Yes, we use 5 star hotel standards to ensure that when you check in at 5:00pm, the home will be clean. We use fresh laundered linen, professional green cleaning products, and gentle care to ensure you’re pleased.

  • How are cancellations/refunds handled?

    The cancellation policy associated with your rental agreement will clearly communicate penalties associated with canceling your contract. Note that cancellations due to weather conditions are not permitted. Travel insurance can protect your vacation investment if unforeseen circumstances require you to cancel your trip.


     If Guest cancels his, her, or their reservation not less than 60 days prior to the Arrival Date, COVH will provide Guest a full refund of any rent paid, less a $75.00 processing fee. Guest may change the dates for their reservation not less than 60 days prior to the Arrival Date for a $50.00 processing fee (date changes are subject to market pricing and demand at the time of the change and therefore you are not guaranteed the same pricing you originally booked for). 


     If Guest cancels his, her, or their reservation not less than 30 days prior to the Arrival Date, COVH LLC will provide Guest a full refund of any rent paid, less a 15% cancellation fee.  If Guest cancels his, her, or their reservation less than 30 days prior to the Arrival Date, Guest will not receive a refund. There will be no refunds for early departures. If COVH LLC is able to rebook the home guests will receive a refund, less the cancellation fee.   • If I wanted special items to be in my home upon arrival would this be possible?

    Yes. The charge for this service starts at $35.00 and increases dependent on the amount of items being purchased. The cost of the items are in addition to the service fee, and would be charged to your reservation prior to your arrival.

  • What happens when I get ready to leave?

    First, ensure that the property is secure. Second, use the check-out guide on the refridgerator for reference.  Lock the door, and return the key to the lock box securing it with the same code given to access the home. We hope you enjoyed your stay, and will come back again to visit us.

  • What if there is a problem during my vacation?

    It is in your best interest to report any problems immediately. Contact information will be provided in the pre-arrival instructions and also posted in the rental. The telephone number listed in this information will be your best resource to quickly resolve any issues.

  • Is wood provided for firepits and woodstoves?

    Yes, this is an amentity that is provided at each home. Please be sure to check Burn Bans in the area and never leave a fire unattended. 

  • Are pets allowed?

    Many of our homes are pet friendly, please check our pet friendly tab for exact rentals. 

  • What amenities are included with the home?

    In addition to the house and amenities advertised on each listing, we also provide guests with homes supplies as well as  a starter pack of toilet paper and paper towel. Dish and laundry detergent, hand soaps, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, trash bags and dish soap are kept in bulk in each home.  For longer stays guests are advised to bring their own toiletries or purchase them while in Central Oregon. 

  • How do we check-in and what type of arrival instructions should we anticipate?

    A few days prior to your arrival you will receive instructions for check-in as well as information about the area and the home to your email. As a reminder all of our vacation homes are self check-in, check-in time is at 5pm and you will be able to go directly to your home. 

  • Where can I find details on check-in time, smoking, etc.?

    Within the rental agreement you can expect to find terms related to check-in and checkout times, maximum occupancy, pet policies, cancellation conditions, and maintenance of the rental. In general, we do not have any rentals that allow smoking on the premises.
